The transfer case fluid came out looking decent, but the front differential was absolutely awful looking. There was a good amount of gunk/ metal shavings stuck to the drain plug that has the magnet on it.Transmission; Polaris AGL gearcase oil -purple fluid 13.5-ounces. Front diff; Polaris Demand drive fluid 5-ounces. I'm worried about the amounts. FOR DIFFS I've read that 5 ounces is good for the diff's when changing fluid but then I read .75" from the bottom of threads on fill hole. 11227 posts · Joined 2009. #6 · Oct 18, 2012. You will need just about 2 qts of 75W-90 for the front and just over 3 qts for the rear. I recommend guys use AMSOIL Severe Gear 75W-90 in the diffs. This is full synthetic that has a high shear rating and has a 100k mile drain interval.The Front diff will take just short of 2 qts 75W-90. The transfer case will take 2 qts of either ATF or 5W-30 synthetic motor oil depending on which way you want to go. If you use the over fill method through the speed sensor it will take 3 qts. There is nothing really special except with the Trans spin on filter.
